Certified Teller Checks

A certified check is a form of check for which the credit union verifies that sufficient funds exist in the account to cover the check at the time the check is written. You can purchase a certified check with funds in your account here at the credit union or with cash. Thus, a certified check cannot "bounce", and is similar to cash.
